Good Jobs Challenge

The MI is supporting regions to meet their respective manufacturing workforce training demands by leveraging the Good Jobs Challenge and associated funding.

On July 22, 2021, the Economic Development Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce announced $3 billion through a series of competitions to support economic and workforce development programs in regions across the country. The Good Jobs Challenge demonstrates a strong commitment to employer-led workforce models and a surprising level of flexibility in the use of funds.
