Program Manager, Heroes MAKE America - Ft Benning

Neisha Rogers is the Heroes MAKE America Program Manager, Fort Benning, at The Manufacturing Institute, the workforce and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the nation’s largest industrial trade association. In her role, Neisha serves as the onsite liaison for the Manufacturing Institute and handles all facets of the program including recruitment, enrollment, class schedules, company tours, and data management.

Neisha has extensive experience working with military service members and families. The first ten years of her professional career were spent in public education, working as an early childhood education teacher, adult education teacher, economic development adjunct instructor, and transition coordinator, near Fort Stewart and Fort Benning Georgia. She later moved on to become the community work adjustment manager for a non-profit organization assisting disabled and economically disadvantaged populations to secure training and employment opportunities.

Prior to joining the Manufacturing Institute, Neisha continued to build upon her passion for working with military families as the Regional Employment Coordinator for Work for Warriors, GA. She worked directly with soldiers and spouses in west Georgia, providing civilian career preparation, training, and mentoring. She built relationships with veteran service organizations on and off military installations to provide better awareness about program benefits and highlights, greatly improving participation and support. She partnered with local industry leaders and coordinated community-wide employment events, focusing on building career readiness and improving job opportunities for the Fort Benning military community.

Neisha holds a Master’s in Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications from Mesa State College. A proud military veteran, she is originally from Grand Junction, Colorado, but currently resides in Columbus, GA, with her husband and two of their four children. Outside of work she can often be found attending her children’s sporting events, spending time with her family, going to the gym.
