Marisa Brown

Marisa Brown is the Manager of Diversity & Inclusion at the Manufacturing Institute, the workforce and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).  Previously she was with the Member and Business Services Department of the NAM, where she managed various operational programs.  In her current role, she is responsible for supporting the development, growth, and maintenance of the MI’s diversity programming and women’s engagement programming.

Marisa comes to the MI with years of experience in administrative and business operations.  She was previously an educator, focused on creating an inclusive classroom, and celebrating diversity and inclusion in education.  She also worked for both the Walt Disney Company and Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL.

Marisa completed her undergraduate studies at High Point University in High Point, NC.  Outside of work, she can often be found by the ocean, at a theme park, or with her friends and family.
