Katherine Harker is the Associate, Operations Support at the Manufacturing Institute, the workforce development and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers. In her current role, Katherine provides support across the MI and works with program leads to execute external facing events.
Prior to joining the institute, Katherine served as Operations and Research Coordinator for Young People For, a social justice incubator focused on providing lifelong leadership training to young people historically left out of opportunity. While at Young People For (YP4), she lead the creation of YP4’s first Alumni Portal website and partnership tracking system. Prior to Young People For, she worked at the Barbara Lee Family Foundation and at the New England Council, the nation’s oldest regional business organization.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Ms. Harker spent much of her life moving around and has lived in Los Angeles, CA; Singapore; London, UK; Boston, MA; and currently Arlington, VA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications with minors in International Affairs and Law & Public Policy from Northeastern University.
