Jennifer Goodman is the Heroes MAKE America Program Manager, Fort Bragg, NC, at The Manufacturing Institute, the workforce and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the nation’s largest industrial trade association. In her role, Jennifer serves as the onsite liaison for the Manufacturing Institute and handles all facets of the program including recruitment, enrollment, class schedules, company tours, and data management.
Jennifer has managed programs in a myriad of industries including education, mental health, and human resources, but she found her professional purpose supporting the meaningful employment of the military community. Prior to joining the Manufacturing Institute, Jennifer was the Director of Programs and Operations at Miligistix, a human resource consulting firm specializing in the development and implementation of military recruitment, engagement, and retention programs. In this role, Jennifer assisted over 30 companies across diverse industry verticals with military recruitment strategy, building brand awareness in the military community, establishing strategic engagements and partnerships, and providing training to talent acquisition and human resources professionals. Prior to joining Miligistix, Jennifer served as a career counselor for the Ft. Bragg Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program where she supported the transition and employment of service members, veterans, and military spouses by providing one-on-one counseling and organizing employment events.
Jennifer resides and works in the Fayetteville, NC area. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys blurring the lines between work and purpose by planning military community networking events in the Ft. Bragg area and serving as an advocate for the meaningful employment of all members of the military community.
