Eric Isbister and his wife Mary own GenMet Corporation. GenMet is a 70-employee metal fabrication company located in Mequon, WI.

Prior to purchasing GenMet, Eric built, tested and designed nuclear submarines for the Navy at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division in Connecticut.  He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  He is a member of the Board of Directors for Beyond Vision Corporation a not-for-profit corporation that hires people who are blind.  Eric is an Advisor to the Manufacturing Institute a non-profit affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). The Institute is the authority on the attraction, qualification, and development of world class manufacturing talent in the United States.  Eric is a member of the Waukesha County Technical College and Milwaukee Area Technical College Industry Advisory Boards and the Milwaukee School of Engineering Corporation Board. Other community service includes  STEM committees and advisory boards to many local high schools.
