Alexandra Becker

Manager, Workforce Initiatives

Alexandra Becker is the Manager, Workforce Initiatives at the Manufacturing Institute, the non-profit affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers. In her current role, Ms. Becker provides ongoing support for FAME (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education) chapters around the nation by benchmarking and sharing best practices; provides regular and relevant training; and ensures academic and experiential fidelity to the tenets of The FAME Career Pathway.

Prior to joining the Institute, Ms. Becker served as a Policy Coordinator for the NAM’s Policy and Government Relations team supporting the International Economic Affairs, Energy and Environment, and Chief Economist teams. Prior to joining the NAM, Ms. Becker worked at the Advisory Board and on Capitol Hill for Rep. Stephen Fincher (TN-08) and Rep. Mike Coffman (CO-06).

Originally from Dallas, TX, Ms. Becker currently resides in Austin, TX. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish from Texas A&M University.
