Brief Description of Institution:  Since 1973, Pioneer Tech has served Oklahoma by providing career and technical educational opportunities for adults, high school students and area businesses. Pioneer Technology Center’s district includes Kay County in addition to part of Osage and Pawnee Counties.

Pioneer Tech offers a wide range of opportunities to prepare students for success in a career, while obtaining college credit. Conveniently located in the largest city in Kay County, Pioneer Tech strives to meets the needs of area students and businesses.

Students can choose from a variety of programs including health sciences, industrial technology, automotive service technology, business information technology, welding, fleet and facilities maintenance, collision repair and much more. Tuition is free for public, private and home-schooled high school students within the district. Adult learners can take advantage of low-cost tuition. Morning, afternoon and all-day classes are available to fit any student’s schedule.

Pioneer Tech offers numerous part-time classes that allow individuals to pursue their own career goals or simply discover a variety of interests. From online to on-campus classes, there are choices that can fit into anyone’s schedule.

Pioneer Tech believes that students’ achievements measure their success. The tech center encourages learners to enroll in career majors that are appropriate for their interests and aptitudes which is an important step on the road to securing their future.
