Brief Description of Institution:
  Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) opened in 1963 as Ohio's first community college and remains Ohio's oldest and largest public community college. Each semester Tri-C offers more than 1,000 credit courses in more than 140 career and technical programs and liberal arts curricula. The College serves more than 52,000 credit and non-credit students annually and ranks 1st in Ohio and 45th in the nation in conferring associate degrees - all disciplines.

Tri-C’s Workforce and Economic Development Division provides credit and non-credit programs for individuals and businesses. Programs are available with fast training in mind for individuals who need to enter the workforce quickly. To ensure the manufacturing programs and graduates meet industry needs, Advisory councils consisting of industry professionals provide input and recommendations for continuous program improvements.

Training is centralized in two facilities with approximately 140,000 square feet of class rooms and labs and more than $10 million of equipment and tooling. Training can also be conducted off campus at business locations.

Specific technical areas include: CNC Machining, Additive Manufacturing, Welding, Mechatronics/Industrial Automation, Robotics, Nondestructive Testing (NDT), Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Lean Practices, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Medical Device Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Drug Manufacturing and Batch Processes, Logistics and Distribution, CDL Class A and B.
