Brief Description of Institution:  Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) is a public, two-year educational institution serving eight counties in northeast Iowa. NICC’s Manufacturing Technology programs include: Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, and Welding. These manufacturing programs have various pathway opportunities including middle school exploration, high school concurrent enrollment, career pathway certificates, technical diplomas, and AAS degrees. NICC takes great pride in our efforts to recruit veterans, females and underrepresented populations into our manufacturing programs. We continually work to align programs to industry needs and create better opportunity for student success.
