Brief Description of Institution: Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) is one of 15 community colleges in the state of Iowa. Founded in 1966, the college's district spans 10 counties in southeast Iowa. Although these 10 counties comprise the college's primary service area, students come to Indian Hills from all over the state of Iowa, across the nation, and even around the globe. In addition, our Online Learning options allow students to study from the comfort of their homes wherever they may find themselves geographically. We offer a wide variety of ways to further your education at Indian Hills. Students may enroll in Arts and Sciences, Advanced Technology, or Health Sciences programs, or they may choose to enhance their learning through Skill–Building courses or Customized Learning options. Students can begin taking courses four times a year: at the beginning of Fall (August), Winter (November), Spring (February), and Summer (May) terms. These "four points of entry" provide flexibility in meeting the needs of all of our students.
