Brief Description of Institution:  Front Range Community College is Colorado's largest community college, enrolling 30,000 students each year. With campuses located in Westminster, Longmont, and Fort Collins, FRCC provides transfer and career and technical education programs that run the gamut from accounting to welding.

Manufacturing programs include:
- Manufacturing and Energy Technology (Fort Collins)
- Welding (Fort Collins)
- Computer Aided Drafting and Design (Fort Collins and Westminster)
- Precision Machining Technology (Longmont)

The Precision Machining Technology program has been designed to be aligned with NIMS Level I competencies. The curriculum has been developed to teach the necessary skills. The text, Precision Machining Technology is endorsed by NIMS and we have purchased Immerse2Learn, an on-line machining curriculum that is also aligned to the NIMS competencies. FRCC will receive its NIMS accreditation this summer (has been awarded provisionally).
