Facts About Manufacturing

The Facts About Modern Manufacturing, produced jointly by The Manufacturing Institute, the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, and the National Association of Manufacturers, is a collection of the key facts and figures that define the state of the U.S. manufacturing industry.

The 2012 Edition of the Facts About Modern Manufacturing was published in October 2012 and provides 65 figures that show the importance of the manufacturing sector and challenges that our industry faces.  Each of the figures and accompanying descriptions are available in three different formats:
