WASHINGTON, -  The Manufacturing Institute is pleased to announce Wilbur Wright College as the newest member of the M-List.

Wilbur Wright College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, is a learning-centered, multi-campus institution of higher education, offering students of diverse backgrounds, talents, and abilities a quality education leading to baccalaureate transfer, career advancement, and/or personal development.

The Manufacturing Institute’s M-List designation is an acknowledgement of Wilbur Wright College’s outstanding advanced manufacturing courses. Enrolled students will be eligible to receive certifications from the National Institute for Metalworking Skills, as well as receive college credit.

“As one of the City Colleges of Chicago, Wright College helps students gain critical job skills through real-world training offered in state-of-the art facilities,” said David Potash, president of Wilbur Wright College. “Wright’s inclusion on the M-List will help us better reach prospective students looking for viable educational and career opportunities in advanced manufacturing.”

The M-List recognizes high schools, community colleges, and universities that are teaching manufacturing students to industry standards. Specifically, these institutions offer students the opportunity to earn NAM-Endorsed Manufacturing Skills Certifications as a standard part of their manufacturing education programs.
