WASHINGTON, -  Today, The Manufacturing Institute released a new video to promote youth engagement and interest in manufacturing careers. The video captures students participating in summer youth academies and other activities across the country that expose youth to manufacturing processes and careers.

The Manufacturing Institute’s Dream It. Do It. program works to inspire next-generation workers to purse manufacturing careers and change the perception of the industry. Dream It. Do It. members include 43 state and regional organizations, as well as company leaders and manufacturing associations that access support, branding, and an ever-expanding toolkit of best practices and resources. These Dream It. Do It. partners gathered earlier this week for an annual collaborative learning conference at Harper College in Palatine, IL.

The video was made possible by Dream It. Do It. Connecticut (Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology), Dream It. Do It. West Virginia (Robert C. Byrd Institute), Toyota Foundation, and Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.
