-  The Manufacturing Institute is pleased to welcome Clearwater Economic Development Association (CEDA) as the newest member of the Dream It. Do It. network representing Dream It. Do It. Intermountain Northwest in Idaho and Washington. With their new membership, Dream It. Do It. has expanded its network to 34 programs in 33 states, reaching 365,000 students.

“CEDA is excited to bring this professionally developed, national campaign to support career awareness and workforce development for manufacturing to north-central Idaho and southeast Washington,” shared CEDA Executive Director Christine Frei. “We are looking forward to working with the network to brand the Intermountain Northwest region’s many workforce development initiatives under a recognized name.”
 
Dream It. Do It. Intermountain Northwest is also supported by Idaho-Lewis County Technical Education Foundation, Lewis-Clark State College, Northwest Intermountain Manufacturers Association, Southeast Washington Economic Development Association, and Valley Vision.

“The Dream It. Do It. network is continuing its growth every year. We have seen such great success across the network, and we are so excited to welcome Intermountain Northwest in Idaho and Washington in joining our national effort to close the skills gap and attract our youth into manufacturing pathways,” Institute President Jennifer McNelly said.

Established in 2005, Dream It. Do It. acts as the grassroots authority on influencing the perception of manufacturing careers by leveraging local, regional and statewide strategic partnerships to attract and recruit the next generation manufacturing workforce. Dream It. Do It. consists of a network of industry leaders that develop pro-manufacturing activities customized to their community’s needs.
