Washington, DC, -  Blake Moret, senior vice president of Rockwell Automation in Milwaukee, WI, was elected chair of The Manufacturing Institute Board of Trustees. He will begin his two-year term immediately. Moret succeeds Ronald Bullock, chairman of Bison Gear & Engineering Corp., in this voluntary leadership position.

Moret will improve credibility, clarity, and scalability of the Institute’s initiatives to produce a high-quality manufacturing workforce and support U.S. competitiveness.

In addition to his role as Chair of The Manufacturing Institute, Moret serves on the National Association of Manufacturers’ Board of Directors. Moret volunteers on the Board of Directors for the Milwaukee-based Urban Ecology Center, an organization focused on teaching central city youth in a natural setting. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
