Austin, TX, -  Members of The Manufacturing Institute's team attended the U.S. News & World Report STEM Solutions National Conference this week.  More than 2,000 leaders in business, education, and government from around the United States gathered in Austin, Texas to advance the agenda for national change in STEM education, policy and workforce development, with targeted outcomes to take action.

Jennifer McNelly, President of the Institute, participated on a panel to discuss the importance of online, digital badging and alternative credentialing. McNelly spoke to the Institute's national certification efforts to develop a strong, talented pipeline in the manufacturing industry.

Additionally, STEMconnector announced their newest publication, 100 CEO Leaders in STEM.  The Institute is a proud partner of this important publication, with many of the recognized CEOs in the manufacturing industry.
