Kenosha, WI, -  U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin today will visit Gateway Technical College's new Integrated Manufacturing and Engineering Technology (iMET) Center.  Institute Senior Vice President Brent Weil participated in the opening of the iMET Center this past February and Gateway President Bryan Albrecht is a member of the Institute's Education Council.  Additionally, Gateway Technical College is a Charter Member of the Institute's M-List.

The iMET center is the region’s first flexible manufacturing lab that is dedicated to training the manufacturing workforce, offering short-term, customized, modular, and boot camp training in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operations, industrial maintenance, robotics, welding and fabrication and industrial trades apprenticeship training.
