Edmonds, WA, -  Institute president Jennifer McNelly lead the kick-off of the National Aviation Consortium's (NAC) talent development initiative.  NAC members consist of colleges from Oklahoma, North Carolina, Washington, and Indiana who are partnering with the Institute and employers to develop career pathways for aerospace and aviation careers.  A key part of the initiative will be implementing the Institute's Manufacturing Skills Certification System.

The NAC was formed in response to the U.S. Department of Labor Request for Proposals for Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training Grants Program.

NAC will result in over 2500 participants earning certificates in aviation career pathways to meet today's employment needs and build tomorrow's pipeline.
