Skills USA Names Snap-on’s Nicholas Pinchuk Champion of the Year- September 19th, 2012

SkillsUSA held its third annual Champion of the Year Dinner in Washington DC on Tuesday. This year’s recipient was Nicholas T. Pinchuk, CEO and Chairman of Snap-On incorporated. The award is given to ‘chief executives of corporations who have distinguished themselves for outstanding achievements in community leadership, high ethical standards, successful growth of their corporate team and a commitment to the integration of diversity in all areas of business'.
Pinchuk, CEO of Snap-On since 2007, has been an advocate for career and technical education, provided leadership in the development of intitiatives that link industry and education and serves on the advisory board for Skills for America’s Future. Snap-on, a major manufacturer of tools, equipment and diagnostics, is also very active in the work to bring together leaders from education, government and industry.
Nicholas Pinchuk is a long-time Manufacturing Institute supporter and very deserving of this honor. The Manufacturing Institute identifies Nicholas as a model executive in the manufacturing industry and congratulates him on his award.
