Albany, NY, -  Over the past two days, the first Manufacturing Technology Forum was held to connect start-up companies funded by the National Science Foundation with manufacturers who may be interested in adopting their technologies.  This forum was focused on companies in the nanotechnology and electronic materials space and was hosted by the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University of Albany. 

The Manufacturing Institute co-sponored the event with the National Science Foundation and Institute President Emily DeRocco and Senior Director Gardner Carrick participated in the Forum.  These Manufacturing Technology Forums are a key part of the Institute's Innovation agenda as we seek to improve the competitiveness of U.S. manufacturers through the adoption of new technologies.
