Disrupting College

-  This week, the Center for American Progress released a new report entitled Disrupting College.  Applying the theory of disruptive innovation developed by Harvard Business School Professor Clayton Christensen, the report examines how online learning and the infusion of technology into education can “disrupt” existing higher education institutions.
This report echoes several of the themes that were discussed at the National Manufacturing Talent Development Roundtable hosted by The Manufacturing Institute this past December where two of the co-authors of the study were participants.
