Erika has a history of leading successful Dow EH&S efforts that protect employees, the environment and local communities. After her role as site leader for Dow’s Wilmington, IL, manufacturing plant, she led Dow’s Global EH&S Improvement, Learning and Training, and Reliability efforts. Recently, she transitioned to a new role as Global EH&S Leader for Dow Coating Materials. Erika is a passionate leader who brings out the best in people, enabling them to accomplish amazing and sustainable results. For example, she led the Wilmington site through a cultural and process transformation in which she redesigned the Dow and contractor workforce, improving employee morale and productivity while overseeing more than one million hours of injury-free work. More recently, she spearheaded a new safety culture initiative for the corporation called “Drive to Zero – Live It!” in which employees are encouraged to live safely every moment of every day, and to achieve zero injuries and incidents. She also facilitated a strategic EH&S improvement plan to prioritize and drive key EH&S projects. Erika was the 2012 Chair of the Three River Educational Partnership (TREP), a joint education/manufacturers partnership working to infuse STEM into classrooms. |
