Kristin Okhuysen
P&G Fabric & Home Care PS Manufacturing Capability
The Procter & Gamble Company

"Manufacturing is a unique place with amazing people who want to utilize equipment, technology, and systems every day to improve the performance of their products and supply chains. We leverage our mastery to solve technical problems, build capability, and innovate so that we are a competitive advantage for our companies."

Kristin has had a widely varied career at P&G, working across many categories and sites during the past 26 years. Time and again, she has demonstrated leadership, professionalism, and maturity in quickly assessing a situation and getting alignment to accomplish business goals. She’s tremendously talented in organizational development, establishing trust, and providing leadership that create momentum and gets results. She is passionate about winning teams and breaking records; she sets high standards, defines clear priorities, and then drives the work with a high sense of urgency.
Kristin believes in investing in others so they can prosper. She serves as the Sector Talent Capability Leader, where she is instrumental in providing mentoring. Kristin is sought out by all levels in the organization for her coaching and guidance on issues that range from career management to work-life balance; she is down to earth, easy to talk to, and openly shares her knowledge and experience. She formally mentors more than 15 people, but routinely mentors many more leaders for situational coaching or guidance on mentoring.
Apart from being a very active volunteer with the Girls Scouts for the last 10 years, Kristin also led United Way Campaigns in two of her sites, the Cayey, PR and Alexandria, LA plants. Under her leadership, the Cayey site reached out to local schools and made supply kits of school materials and books for about 50 children. This was so well received that variations of this approach were done in future years. She drove similar results in Alexandria, and to this day the community relies on P&G employees and their service hours to repair homes and volunteer for many non-profit organizations.
