Ashley leads one of the largest aldehyde production facilities in the United States, encouraging and empowering others to grow through project assignments, active coaching, and leadership promotions. Her operations team is recognized for modeling best practices in essential operational disciplines and Ashley has shared these practices with influential Eastman leadership, strengthening the company and promoting manufacturing excellence. Her team serves as a model for others to follow. Ashley currently acts as a career mentor for leadership candidates, developing high-talent individuals and ensuring they receive coaching to help them succeed in their career aspirations. Ashley enjoys focusing on their needs, sharing her experiences to help grow their leadership capabilities, and helping craft specific plans to assist them in accomplishing their goals. She also serves as an informal mentor to multiple engineer support staff in her manufacturing unit. Ashley actively seeks opportunities to further her own leadership knowledge to more effectively mentor her peers. She has participated in mentoring courses offered within the company, and broadened her experiences through professional leadership conferences such as Leadercast and Catalyst Atlanta. Ashley shares her talents to support local community efforts in both STEM and non-STEM areas. From serving as a panelist at a local community college event to promote STEM career opportunities to female high school students; to renovating library spaces; to working on a team to stop human trafficking, Ashley leverages her skills and passions to benefit all those around her.
