Jerrika Hall
Plant Process Automation Engineer
The Dow Chemical Company

"I love learning, solving problems, and positively impacting the community. The manufacturing environment challenges me to develop and implement new solutions. It offers opportunities for personal growth, enhancement of technical skills, and working with global teams. Through community outreach, I've mentored and empowered local youth by sharing my passion."

Jerrika has been widely recognized for her technical knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, work ethic, and strong desire to learn throughout each project she’s undertaken.  From developing code to creating documentation and training, she contributes to achieve business results.
As one of the Site Implementation Leaders (SIL) for Freeport's African American Network, Jerrika has helped to plan and facilitate several developmental, social, and community service events over the last two years. She works with SIL's from other diversity networks of Dow on the Site Diversity Leadership Team to foster diversity and inclusion for the Freeport site. She makes a tremendous sacrifice of time and energy outside of her core role to ensure the success of the network and the positive impact it has on its participants.
Jerrika is a member of the New Professional Network (NPN), a diverse group of young leaders, where she served as an NPN mentor to three Dow co-ops. She’s passionate about helping people and ensured that the co-ops learned as much as they could during their tenure from a business and career development perspective.  She supported Dow Recruiting initiatives by serving on the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) recruiting team. Her attendance at NSBE’s 2015 National Conference helped increase Dow’s competitiveness in recruiting top African-American students.
She shares her talents in other ways as well, including volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club – as part of the Texas Operations STEM Ambassador Program, Houston Food Bank, and United Way.
