Janeen Lyle
Product Supply Director, Personal Health Care
The Procter & Gamble Company
Mason, OH

"Manufacturing is the one place that people, technology, leadership and teamwork come together to provide products of superior quality that in some small way improves the lives of the world's consumers day in day out.”

As the Product Supply Director of the Global PHC business, Janeen led the re-acquisition of two plants in North America. She inherited sites that showed productivity, cost, safety, service, cash flow and morale as worst-in-class among the 30 P&G regional sites. Within one year, Janeen built an inclusive culture, bolstered technical capability, implemented new work processes and systems, and instilled pride in the plant to turn these results around. The region delivered P&L above expectations, while restoring confidence with customers through outstanding service. Today, these plants are in the top half of the P&G plants, on their way to being the very best.
As the director for Family Care North America, Janeen was responsible for all Product Supply metrics, the logistics organization based in Cincinnati, and the six manufacturing plants. Janeen demonstrated perseverance and exceptional interpersonal skills as she coached the new management team to tremendous results. She actively mentors 12 diverse individuals.  Despite her work schedule, Janeen assures they have proper coaching, are given exposure to senior management, and have crucible roles to build skills and gain experience.
Janeen has successfully chaired the P&G Corporate United Way Campaign twice, including networking with the Cincinnati city United Way leaders, translating the annual theme to relevance at P&G, setting targets, organizing recruiting events, conducting employee meetings with speakers and top management, and tracking plans at each site and for the overall campaign. She was also the Cincinnati Fine Arts Fund campaign manager for her category, Family Care. This is a special donation that P&G Cincinnati supports for the Ballet, Symphony, Theatre and school fine arts programs.
