Carol "Lynn" Fox
Senior Director - Completions Manufacturing
Baker Hughes Incorporated
Houston, TX

“It is a fascinating and technology driven industry. Manufacturing offers opportunity to enrich many aspects of professional growth. Manufacturing plays on several key factors; quality, delivery, and cost. All of these key factors engage my personal interest in leading and developing a team to create a world class manufacturing group.”

Lynn has had many accomplishments over her career with Baker Hughes, from establishing the Women’s Resource Group to setting up the Supply Chain Hub and Spoke distribution network, enterprise customer service and order management teams. All have been a result of her outstanding abilities to lead and mentor people and teams. In her current role, she leads and directly manages 11 manufacturing and maintenance centers for one of Baker Hughes’ largest revenue generating product line – the completions business.
Lynn is a dynamic leader with a winning mindset. Over the last few years within Baker Hughes she has held several leadership roles from Health, Safety and Environment Director, to a Supply Chain Senior Director over Distribution, Customer Service and currently manufacturing. Her leadership style is non-hierarchical and very collaborative. She always inspires and engages her team to be great performers.
Lynn spends almost 20 percent of her time in mentoring a wide array of individuals across the organization. With each mentor she spends time weekly talking about leadership, career development, business impact, employee development, and business topics. Her constant support and ability to listen and provide effective guidance are her strengths, and her accessibility makes her a true resource.
Lynn was part of the initial team that set up the women’s resource group (WRG) for Baker Hughes. The structure involves informal mentoring and sessions featuring women leaders. It provides a vehicle for women to connect with role models, peer support and development resources. The success of her efforts are demonstrated through the large number mentor-mentee relationships established, all of whom have had tremendous exposure to role models and been able to share personal stories of inspiration.
