Paulette Enfante
General Operations Manager
Phoenix Mecano Inc.
Frederick, MD

“The passion that drives me to pursue excellence in manufacturing production is the satisfaction I experience from day-to-day productivity and continuous goal-oriented improvements. I enjoy making incremental changes and using measurable results to see what works and, equally as important, what doesn’t work to ultimately succeed.”

As Phoenix Mecano's General Operations Manager, Paulette is driven by challenge and leverages her background working in various manufacturing roles to impact U.S. operations. She understands how manufacturing has changed over the past 20 years, and the importance of the lean manufacturing movement. As a result of her lean initiatives, Paulette's successes include inventory management improvements, implementation of the cycle count program at product division levels, and the application of internal controls across the production floor.

Paulette has had a unique set of experiences in her nine-year career. She chose to develop broad knowledge across several different departments and disciplines. Her background in customer service influences her management of a customer-centric operations team. She is viewed as a master of both operational and global supply network systems and sets a strong example with her work ethic.

Paulette stresses that she is nothing without her strong team and every person in her group impacts the success of the business.  She truly believes that if you have knowledge that can benefit someone else you should share it. She has applied this belief in mentorship across every department to every employee under her direction. Recognizing there are limited manufacturing industry training programs, Paulette implemented a training within industry program based on her own lean/six sigma training.

Paulette is a strong supporter of her local community through charitable contributions to the Heartly House, supporting battered women and children, and the Frederick County Food Bank, providing food to families in need.  She participates in the annual American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes and volunteers with her local Fire Department Company supporting their fundraising events.
