Silvia has used her technical and interpersonal skills to be highly successful in several roles at Able Manufacturing.  She served as Team Champion on multiple Continuous Improvement initiatives where her teams’ efforts resulted in cost savings and efficiency improvements.  As a manufacturing engineer, she successfully implemented lean concepts in weld and assembly operations. Once her role developed into Continuous Improvement,she played a key role in the company wide Lean culture implementation.  She now leads the company’s QA group.

Silvia’s combined education in law and social sciences as well as engineering technology, gives her a unique perspective and foundation for her current role as quality liaison with Able Manufacturing’s customer base. Her educational background provides her with the tools needed to be an effective coach and mentor to her team.  She is extremely effective in collaborating and gaining consensus to solve problems and improve processes.

Silvia is a board member for the MissouriOklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas Chapter of American Society for Quality, she also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Quality at Pittsburg State University,holds a Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma, a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Social Sciences, a Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Engineering Technology and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Technology.
