Mary Beth Mancias “My mother is my role model. She is an intelligent, kind, compassionate woman, who provided a stable, loving environment for her family. This foundation, with her continued support, has greatly influenced all the positive choices I made in life.” | |
Mary Beth joined Met-Ed immediately after completing her degree in electrical engineering. She has had a lengthy career with the company, with the exception of a brief hiatus spent raising her children while they were young and a short period with a small company. She has taken on progressively more challenging roles, and as a supervisor has brought a focus on customer service and pro-active communications. Karen Baxter, Met-Ed’s manager of external affairs offers, “Mary Beth’s customer-centric attitude coupled with a keen understanding of utility infrastructure and engineering will help our company meet the demands and expectations of our 21st century customer base. Customers and customer’s expectations are changing and utilities, with the help of far-seeing engineers like Mary Beth, must change too.” |
