“Manufacturing creates products, transforms materials, and the U.S. leadership in quality, safety, and innovation are world leading. Manufacturing companies provide good wages and benefits and often voluntarily lead in efforts such as environmental stewardship. Manufacturing is a team atmosphere with visible results. It’s tangible and rewarding.”

Since joining the company in 2000, Jill has progressed through a series of increasingly responsible positions including financial and strategic business planning roles. Her success resulted in her recently being named Executive Vice President and President, North America and Latin America.   Over her career, Jill has had a focus on continuous improvement and product innovation which ultimately improved profitability and aligned business units even more strongly with overall corporate initiatives.  She is exceptionally committed to the rigorous development of people, knowing that as companies grow, capabilities and performance also need to grow.

Her combination of talents and educational background, including an MBA, leads Jill to develop “good people teams” who effectively address issues and opportunities.  According to a recent article in BizJournal, Jill is “known for developing people and pushing them to higher levels. She sets the bar, the vision for her team, gives them the tools and gets out of the way. She builds really good teams that deliver results.” Jill’s involvement in diversity, inclusion and her engagement with not-for-profits in Louisville has helped keep Jill committed to “paying it forward,” making her a stronger leader.  According to Brown-Forman’s Chairman and CEO Paul Varga, “Jill works in the best interest of the company. She is committed to excellence for the company and herself. Jill is a wonderful role model for up-and-coming executives.”

Jill also shares her considerable talents with local, state and national organizations dedicated to passions that are close to her heart: family and manufacturing.
