Hunter Hawk, Inc.

Concord, CA

“I love manufacturing. I stumbled into it and it turns out to be a great fit for my creativity, problem-solving abilities, and the opportunity to be innovative.  Most of all, I enjoy working closely with customers to eliminate the pain by giving them efficient and impactful solutions, and with products made in the USA.”

Sandy has been in the industrial products and services industry for more than 30 years, starting as a sales secretary and eventually founding Hunter Hawk in 1994.  Decades of experience have given her an exceptional understanding of the needs and challenges her customers face and the ability to find highly efficient and innovative solutions.

Active in organizations within her industry and in the business community, it's important to her in business and in life to help women and girls achieve personal and professional growth and success; Sandy uses every opportunity to make that happen.

In 2013 she was awarded ASTRA's "Done Deals Award" for actively choosing to use women owned businesses as her primary vendors whenever possible. As an integral part of ASTRA/WBENC's Leadership, Certification and National Forum Committees, she's worked to build the membership of the organization.  Colleagues and friends appreciate her not only for her technical expertise, but because she is genuine and accessible.  It’s this combination that has led to her awards, which include Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Star 2010, Women's Initiative Entrepreneur of the Year 2012, and 2013 Tuck WBENC Executive Program Scholarship recipient.
