Sandra Bouckley
VP, Operations-Electrical Systems and Services Group-Electrical Sector
Eaton Corp.
Moon Township, PA

“Beyond my career, I knew that I could make a much bigger impact on the profession of manufacturing by being on the Board of Directors of SME, so I ran for a position back in 2011.  Being elected to the Board of SME has provided greater education and opportunity to be involved in manufacturing beyond my own job and career.  Being a manufacturing professional allows me to contribute to making the world a better place for all.”

Sandra is a high-energy leader who is able to communicate a clear vision and direction while attaining business goals.  She is exceptional at driving cultural change that results in multi-million dollar savings.  Sandra is responsible for developing and implementing the ESSG manufacturing strategy while providing functional leadership across Manufacturing, Quality, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Environmental Health and Safety.  Her expert selection and leadership of high-performing cross functional teams drives transformation in small and large operations and generates significant improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Throughout her career, Sandra has been instrumental in implementing programs and initiatives that save money, build organizational competency and are good for organizational health.  Sandra has parlayed her role as the highest-ranking woman in manufacturing at Eaton into a range of efforts to attract and retain excellent female candidates, including the implementation of a highly successful mentorship program.  In recognition of her outstanding leadership, Sandra was named one of the 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry by Automotive News in 2005. The award publically acknowledged her communication skills, tireless efforts to make the industry a more hospitable place for women, and leadership talents.
