Tana is Vice President of Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division and President of Perkins Engines Company. 
 
Tana’s Caterpillar career has been focused primarily on diesel engine emissions reduction.  She is best known for leading the team that developed ACERTTM Technology, which remains the foundation for diesel engine development and emissions reduction programs at Caterpillar.  Most recently, as Chief Technology Officer, Tana led the effort to refresh the company’s technology strategy and chart strategic growth across a global research and development footprint.
 
Tana earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Bradley University and a MS in management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.  She is the recipient of the Suzanne Jenniches Upward Mobility Award from the Society of Women Engineers, and an honorary Doctor of Technology degree from Loughborough University.
