“At PTC, I have the privilege to work with our future generation of Scientists, Technologists, Engineers and Mathematicians. I see young leaders dive into technology and engineering in ways that were not once possible. Our next generation of our innovators – that is what drives my passion for manufacturing.”

Sheila is a longtime champion of promoting STEM in K12.  As Director of PTC's global academic program and corporate relations, Sheila has been a longtime advocate for STEM and has been the program manager for PTC's strategic relationship with the international high school robotics competition FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology).  Sheila has recruited over 300 employees to volunteer at FIRST events globally, has sponsored 150 teams and manages a budget in excess of $1 Million USD per year for FIRST.

Over 1,000 teams have adopted PTC software solutions in just five years.  This technology helps teams design, build and compete in the robot competitions at a superior level.  Three PTC sponsored robots made the final eight teams in the most recent competition, providing lifelong memories and valuable education to participating students.
