Kathryn is responsible for planning, designing, modifying, optimizing and monitoring manufacturing processes to produce high quality product in the most cost effective manner utilizing Lean principles.
Kathryn uncovered opportunities for improvement within the Implants Factory, resulting in her leading the Manufacturing Team on a major conversion project yielding significant annual savings.  She led a manufacturing design team producing a new product portfolio launch which jumpstarted the push into innovative new Sports Medicine products. Her contribution was recognized and she was promoted to Engineer II.
Her insight, strong background in Lean Manufacturing, determination, drive, and ‘can-do’ attitude has bolstered her position as a key performer and promising young engineer who is respected and admire by her peers and management alike.
