Pamela Kan
Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation
Pittsburgh, CA

“I’m extremely proud to be a viable second-generation manufacturer. Even though tax laws make it difficult to survive succession, we did it. I love being a role model for women and daughters in manufacturing. For 62 years our company has supported STEM education in our community.”

Pamela’s rise to the top of Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation is an inspiration.  Pamela joined Bishop-Wisecarver in 1991 as Corporate Programs Director, she then moved on to Office Manager before assuming the role of Assistant General Manager.  In May of 2000, the Board of Directors appointed Pamela to the role of President.  In 2009, Pamela gained controlling interest in the company.

Since assuming her role as President, Pamela has focused on improving the internal business systems, adopting Lean manufacturing principles, leveraging technology and consistently producing innovative products.  She recently formed an Advisory Board to assist with strategically growing the company and launching a new website that will be fully integrated with Bishop-Wisecarver’s social and online media efforts.
