As a Business Development Manager at The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W), Ms. Johnson is the lead negotiator for cross-functional teams charged with targeting and developing new business opportunities.  She guides her team in managing relationships with customers and partners, identifying optimal technical and commercial solutions, and driving internal cost reductions.
Since being named Business Development Manager in 2008, Ms. Johnson has led teams securing more than $650 million in new business, which has helped bolster the company’s reputation as a trusted leader in technical innovation. Previously, Ms. Johnson was selected by B&W’s Chief Technology Officer to lead a team of experts from across the company in developing a strategic roadmap for the future of technology.  Her team’s report refocused B&W on integrating research and development into the core of the company’s strategic business plan.
