Janis Herschkowitz is President and CEO of PRL, Inc. a diversified corporation consisting of three subsidiaries, who supply high quality specification castings, fabrications and fully machined components to the  defense, nuclear and petro-chemical industries. In order to meet the most stringent customer requirements, Jan leads with a focus on technological innovation, teamwork, ongoing education, and lean manufacturing initiatives. While PRL Inc.’s success and quality reputation is paramount, Jan understands that an exceptionally important part of the equation is the hard work and dedication of PRL's workforce.

Jan underwent a successful Senate confirmation hearing as President Bush’s nominee to serve on the Board of Directors for the National Consumer Cooperative Bank.  In 2012, she was appointed by Pennsylvania’s Governor to serve on his Manufacturing Advisory Council. As a strong political advocate for small business issues, she is on the Board of the Pennsylvania Chamber and previously served as NFIB/Pennsylvania Leadership Council Chairman.
