“Manufacturing offers exciting, sustaining careers and a strong manufacturing industry is imperative for our future.  Encouraging a career in manufacturing requires: 1) understanding of the role our products play in global success; 2) math, technology, communication, and problem-solving skills needed; and 3) the potential for continuous personal and professional growth.”

Vickie provides a full range of HR support including compensation, employee relations, training, organization development, talent management, succession planning, project management, and change management.  Additionally, Vickie engages workforce and educational organizations within the community in an effort to support and strengthen regional networks and opportunities.

Vickie engaged several members of the local Workforce Investment Board and regional workforce forum to found the Female Alliance for STEM Excellence (FASE). FASE is an alliance of business, education and community representatives encouraging excellence in STEM among women and girls.  FASE initiatives include: Recognition Nights for middle and high school girls with interest and potential in STEM; FASE Discovery Camp, a STEM day camp for middle school girls; and mini-grants that encourage STEM programs targeted toward young women.
