Dr. Bossman leads Materials Engineering and Computational Mechanics engineering teams for the Trane Commercial and Thermoking business units within Ingersoll Rand.  Dr. Bossman supervises 35 engineers and technical staff and is widely recognized within the company as a go to leader on complicated technical issues.  Her engineering teams have a marked impact on product development and are often leveraged globally and across all Ingersoll Rand product lines.  

Dr. Bossman is a charter member of the Ingersoll Rand Women's Network, and received a President's Award in 2012 for her involvement.  She participates in engineering career path overviews for students and girl scouts and is currently working on increasing Ingersoll Rand’s formal involvement in STEM through programs such as a local partnership with Project Lead the Way.
