Audrey Rossman
Director, Global External Supply Operations
Procter & Gamble

“I enjoy manufacturing because every day you have the opportunity to transform raw materials into a finished product by utilizing technologies and work processes. I have the opportunity to work with manufacturers all around the world and see different technologies and people systems, and I find it very exciting.”

Audrey manages supply for approximately 10 percent of Proctor & Gamble’s volume supplied by contract manufacturers. As Director, Global External Supply Operations, Audrey implemented the company’s ONE External Supply Solutions (ESS) design partnership between Operations and Purchases, resulting in a slew of powerful outcomes for the company. Thanks to Audrey’s leadership, talent within the organization was upgraded and supply base was reduced by more than 70 percent. Operation Excellence and End-to-End Synchronizations programs were also implemented, significantly improving quality, supply assurance, customer service, cost and cash.

Audrey was crucial to ensuring successful outcomes following the divestiture of a significant portion of P&G Beauty to Coty. Thanks to the efforts of Audrey and her organization, all new businesses were started up vertically, with almost no impact. Audrey and her team established annual strategy reviews with each business unit to formally confirm and document priorities so the ONE ESS organization could deliver upon clear expectations.

Audrey has devoted significant time to lead the Product Supply African American Affinity group and was the sponsor of the Supply Network Women Group. She has mentored women and men throughout company to help them achieve career goals, three of whom she guided through their promotions to management roles. Audrey’s leadership spans the globe as she has shared her career experiences and insights with P&G groups in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Audrey builds and enables a diverse global organization and consistently leverages the strengths of her growing leadership team.

Despite her fast-paced global role which requires heavy international travel, Audrey makes time to give back to the community. Living in New Mexico, Audrey volunteers at a local food bank and contributes funds to the New Mexico Cancer Center and Presbyterian Children’s Hospital. She is committed to supporting many organizations throughout the New Mexico community to help those in need. Audrey has also volunteered for her son’s soccer team and at school events. Where there is a need, Audrey is prepared and ready to serve.
