Dana has the unique ability to understand business processes in great technical depth.  She has the vision, strategy, and process focus to turn complex $100M systems into simple practical implementations. Dana leads an organization of 67 people who ensure perfectly accurate data flows seamlessly from customers to suppliers, to transform the company’s products on the shop floor. Her hands-on leadership style and dedication to the development of her team are paramount to the organization’s success.
 
The immense pride Dana takes in her work is contagious, as she has shaped her organizations to demonstrate the highest-level of engagement within the entire organization. People line up to work for her - they know they will be trained, challenged, and developed. Dana sees the potential in people that they may not see in themselves; she gives them opportunities, helps them uncover their hidden talents, and accomplish business objectives. She is a trusted visionary who compels others to share her goals.
 
Dana's leadership contributions don’t stop when she leaves work for the day. She has a passion to give back to the community and has participated in a range of activities to help others. Dana has tutored high school geometry students, served lunch to those in need at the Open Door Café, and volunteered at Special Olympics events. She even studied to become a certified tax preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program to help low-income families who were struggling to complete their returns. Her investment in volunteering and giving back makes her a powerful leadership model for H-D staffers.
