Monica Jung
Director of Supply Chain
Eaton

"The manufacturing environment is constantly changing. I enjoy the challenge the changing environment gives for teams to work together and challenge one another to remain competitive in the global market place. Today’s markets challenge us to continually provide new products with superior quality, lower cost, and faster turnaround times."

Monica has been a critical member of the Bussmann Division as the Director of Supply Chain, Customer Satisfaction, and Ellisville Operations. She designed the Supplier Strategy, which is linked to the division’s growth strategy focused on improving four key areas: quality, service levels, lead time, and cost savings. Monica is also involved across multiple divisions outside of the Bussmann Division where she leads large, impactful projects. She is a participant in Eaton’s highly sought after Advanced Leaders Zone Program, and is quick to step-up when there is a need throughout the organization.

Monica is astute in quickly reading a person’s strengths, creating a long-term plan for the person to help them continue to develop and grow. She mentors countless individuals who look to her as an example of a leader and seek her guidance for their career path within Eaton.

She has also been the United Way staff leader for the Bussmann Division for the past three years. Monica has taken the United Way activities to a new level by incorporating ice cream socials, competitive silent auctions, winner parking spots, and other activities. Each year, under her leadership, the group has exceeded team participation and monetary goals. She is an active in communicator of the United Way goal status, and effective at engaging employees to participate.  Monica also energetically participates regularly in Division community involvement team (Bussmann Gives Back) events outside of work hours, such as Habitat for Humanity and The Boys and Girls Club.
