"I am proud to be a part of the innovation that makes our products safer, higher quality, and more convenient to use. Whether I’m getting ready in the morning, painting my house, or traveling on an airplane, I enjoy knowing I had a hand in creating these materials."

Laura leverages her technical expertise and leadership skills to accomplish important change to enhance efficiency and safety. She has led efforts to identify enhanced management systems for Predictive/Preventative Maintenance programs on a regional level for BASF, in both the Mechanical and Instrument & Electrical disciplines. She’s demonstrated strong leadership skills as Coordinator on the BASF Maintenance Global Management Team, a virtual team comprised of regional maintenance leaders from across the globe. With this multi-cultural, far-flung group, Laura has relied on her communication and collaboration skills, as well as her passion for diversity and cultural awareness to drive business results.

She values mentorship and participates in mentoring activities across the board, from local school STEM activities to working with the company’s new hires. Her mentoring includes coaching and training on technical job functions, along with providing helpful tips and advice for those moving to the local area. In addition to mentoring new hires, Laura has also supervised summer internship students.
