"Being part of a company that makes something tangible is incredibly fulfilling. Safety will be your most important job in manufacturing. Listen to all employees and consider all perspectives in order to challenge conventional wisdom and improve results. There are always opportunities to improve.”

Amid the worst global economic downturn since the Great Depression, Jenny was promoted from chief information officer to president of USG International.  She collaborated with other USG executives to strategically reallocate corporate resources during the housing crisis, analyzed the company's strengths and weaknesses, and focused on markets where USG could win.   Through her efforts USG was established as an international player.  She was also instrumental in forging the largest joint venture in the company's 112-year history, with Boral Limited, USG's Australian-based counterpart. Jenny built a consensus among numerous existing USG joint ventures and partnerships, and with her diplomacy and ability to influence, the USG-Boral Joint Venture began in February 2014.  The venture is pivotal to USG's corporate strategy by diversifying earnings--to help insulate the company from the cyclicality of any one geographic market.

As a result of her efforts, USG is a stronger, more agile and more international company. It's delivering safer and more sustainable building materials to some of the fastest-growing markets around the world. In the process, USG is continuing to strengthen its capabilities to deliver the best, most innovative building solutions in America and around the world for generations to come.

Jenny is a consensus builder with a unique talent for drawing together disparate groups united in a common purpose.  She has demonstrated this skill time and again, from early on when she joined the organization and implemented a massive software overhaul to the joint venture she brokered. Whatever project she leads, Jenny provides a clear strategy and unique insight into completing any task.
