Lareina Bunting
Subcontracts Manager, Data Analyst
Harris Corporation
Palm Bay, FL

“The achievement that I am most proud of is my education. Working to get my Master’s degree has been a very demanding and rewarding experience. I am looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges that I will get to experience as a result of this achievement.”

Lareina has been sharing her talents with multiple groups for the past six months, as she is both a subcontracts manager within the Supply Chain organization, managing several contracts with suppliers for a dynamic program area, as well as being a sub-member to the Harris Business Excellence (HBX) Business Analytics and Measurement team. In this second role, she has created extensive Supply Chain Performance dashboards for the purpose of monitoring and capturing data to enhance security and improve efficiencies.
Lareina differentiated and developed her skill set through her role in assisting many functional areas with process improvement initiatives.  She demonstrated not only excellent technical acumen, but a unique ability for being able to listen to requirements from customers and peers regarding a process that they would like to improve and quickly be able to implement an enhanced process with automated tools.
She is an outstanding multitasker, able to balance many programs, work locations, and customers, and still deliver on time, with high quality. She has a reputation for being smart, customer service oriented, and extremely flexible.  Lareina demonstrates strong communication and analytical skills to quickly understand the needs of her customer, learn the systems/processes they use, and respond with an automated solution that exceeds expectations.
Lareina is also committed to improving herself and her work environment. Her professional development efforts include attending Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training and Quality Auditor Training. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration and plans to graduate in May 2015.
