“Toyota recently launched the Mirai, a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle developed with the hope of changing the future of personal mobility. My proudest moment thus far is working alongside the amazing members of this team to make this vehicle a reality.”

Jackie is an integral member of the team at the fuel cell vehicle group at Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America, Inc. that will introduce Toyota’s 2016 fuel cell vehicle into the North American market.  She has developed a wealth of experience while helping shape the regulations that support the introduction of fuel cell vehicles in North America and has become an expert in these codes and standards.  She also has become a spokesperson for the vehicle, raising awareness and promoting the car.  Her previous work experience, especially her five years at the California Fuel Cell Partnership, helped shape her passion and commitment to fuel cell vehicles as the wave of the future.

Jackie is driven by a challenge.  From early high school days as the only girl in shop class, Jackie went beyond what she was being allowed to do in class to learn about cars, including taking a part time job at a Pep Boys store.  She chose to attend Kettering University because she felt that the best place to develop a solid foundation was at the birthplace of the auto industry.  Over her career she has always chosen the more interesting, authentic, and unique path rather than selecting an easier, safer option.  She is passionate about sustainable mobility and willing take risks to forward the concept and industry.
